We never got to the boardwalk. We were out early and driving around in
very heavy rain, some roads became impassable with water too deep to
drive through and police cars turning us back. We went into Walmart and
I struggled to hold the car door in the wind. We were soaked just
getting into the store. We went to another store and bought some food

I liked Washington, very open and clean. We walked to a fair few places
and I was sad to leave with so much unseen.
It is dreadful weather. I managed to get to a Mall today and went into
Johnny Rockets. What a treat. The staff came out and danced, one lad was
very enthusiastic and quite made my day with his actions.
