Latest on Z1300 and "Compatibles"-Looks Like I Was Right
|
| |
Had a little time at work today to sojourn over to Lexmark's website with an eye towards confirming a strongly-held suspicion of mine-that their printers which can use their number 32 black and/or 33 color cartridges can also use the 34 and/or 35 cartridges without the converse being true, a situation that may have helped to give rise to... más »

I happenned to buy a CIS for it (This printer uses the older non chipped cartridges) My question is this: Can I just use the CIS ink reservoir flat out or do I need to indoctrinate the printer with regular cartridges first before using the CIS.... más »

Canon cartridges with plastic prongs for the chip?
|
| |
Hello all, I know that recently third party cartridges for Canon (CLI-8 / PGI-5) *with chip* have been put on the market, however they cost double compared to the chipless ones. Stupid Update: Me=Dumb, InkStop=Dumber? Office Depot=Geniuses!
|
| |
Well, I unboxed my shiny new $22 Lexmark Z1300 Friday night and eagerly ripped my pair of "compatible" cartridges from InkStop out of their packages-Jiminy Christmas, *why* do they make those things so damned hard to open?-and was quickly greeted by a pair of "invalid" messages when I stuck the cartriges in and fired everything up. No... más »
