HP 5610 hangs on copying

Just recently, my HP 5610 all in one printer started hanging when I
attempt to make copies. The display says "Copying", but nothing
happens.
Printing and faxing still work. Sometimes I can coax the machine into
copying by disconnecting the USB cable from my desktop.
Sometimes, the printer causes an error box to pop up on my computer

I have a Canon MP 780 and it is always asking for one of the color
cartridges to be replaced. I am thinking of changing all of them to
black. (last resort as I do use color rarely)
The black seems to last longer than the color, but I have bought so
many color ones that I really can't keep up.

Now on text only printing first few pages are ok then ghosting of text
appears on later pager
New fuser roll, good overall clean, with cleaning pad. about 10% left
on imaging unit

How to unplug nozzles on Epson 740?

This Epson 740 sat for two or three years and the cyan and magenta
nozzles are plugged. I installed new tanks and tried several repetitive
nozzle cleaning cycles with out success. Should I try Windex and exactly

Canon i860 printer 3e ink empty in few hours

I have XP and 2 printers with the laserjet set as default but can
change when I want to an all-in-one office jet to use if I wish.
Suddenly, whenever I re-start the computer my default printer changes
to the officejet all-in-one fax. How do I prevent this from happening?

Epson D120 print preview question

I have a new Epson D120 printing via a Western Digital NAS device with
built in print server. That means the whole family can use it. I have
an old Epson 880 set up in exactly the same way. I know that status
monitor will not work via the NAS box.
Print preview works fine on the 880, but I can't get it to work at all
